Well, in class today we discussed "Diction", essentially what types of speech are appropriate in what contexts. To be honest.... It's not really anything new to me... I guess I learned that Elizabeth the first potentially wrote a letter regarding the Spanish armada back in 1988 haha (Just joking if anyone is even reading this blog who was in the class.... but you have to admit that was pretty funny)
Anyways, truth be told, the class wasn't really anything new to me. I guess it was terms and styles I have become familiar with in the past.. I can't say where I became familiar with it, but I was.
Still a good class though.
Oh wait, I did learn one new term "Functional Specialization" Which means Language suitable for a specific discipline... such as Biological terms or Philisophical.
There we go.
